The mastermind of the Bible is questionable.

If an omniscient, omnipotent perfect being is the mastermind behind the Bible, then;

  • Why does the book reflect only the culture, science (hardly any), history, literature, morals and values of the era in which it was written? Couldn’t the creator, director or whatever foresee that civilization will evolve and people will get wiser and change for the better?
  • Why are there so many versions of it? Why could this mastermind not take a little responsibility and pride in his work and ensure that future editions stayed consistent with the original? I honestly doubt if Stephen King would send his manuscript to various publishing agents and give them the freedom to publish and alter his books as they please.
  • Why does it have so many inaccuracies and inconsistencies? You would think that an omniscient and omnipotent being would be pedantic about facts, apparently he did create the universe and you have to be quite consistent in doing that. I mean, physics on earth is the same as on the moon, or any planet in the universe.
  • Why is it open to so many different interpretations? Why write such an important book that causes wars and hate. If you write a manual to service a car, there is only one way to do it, the right way. Not the Bible.
  • Why does it include stoning, torture, murder, burning , slavery, homophobia, pedophilia, bigotry and chauvinism? The Tao Te Ching is written by a man and is more credible and everlasting that the Bible that is apparently masterminded by an omniscient and omnipotent perfect being!
  • Why would anyone have to ask so many questions about he Bible if it’s supposed to be the go-to source for truth and the ultimate instruction book for morality. Einstein once said, you can explain any subject to a nine year old if you have a deep understanding of it. Clearly God had no clue whatsoever.

Anyone?
